RUTA is overhauling its website so as to upgrade it and make it more user-friendly and interactive. The articles on different projects, agencies and issues are more appealing, and the site encourages feedback from RUTA clients. This is part of the effort to improve knowledge management and communication being carried out by RUTA. The new website will be launched at the end of January.

RUTA is also designing a new planning, monitoring and evaluation system, as well as a management system, to streamline the administrative complexities in drawing up the annual work plan, inasmuch as the process entails dealing, among other things, with countries, issues, and cooperation agencies.

To design this system, RUTA sought support from and entered into an arrangement with PREVAL/IFAD. It is also cooperating with the these agencies in providing advisory services to several projects in Central America, including PRORURAL, Trifinio and a future UNICEF/IFAD joint program.
